“Hot Slots Treasure Hunt” Promotion at the Riverside Resort

Six times bonus points are being offered through March 31 at the Riverside Resort during their “Hot Slots Treasure Hunt” promotion. Members of the resort’s King of Clubs Players’ Club can earn the extra points on designated banks of slot machines. Harrah’s Features “Drinkin’-Singin’-Swingin’ Salute to Sinatra-Davis-Martin

On stage through March 18 (dark March 12) at Harrah’s Laughlin’s Fiesta Showroom is a phenomenal show Drinkin’-Singin’-Swingin’ Salute to Sinatra-Davis-Martin. This show is a must for fans of the vintage Rat Pack days featuring a talented trio of entertainers taking on the roles of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin. Ryan Baker appears as Sinatra; Bryan Williams takes on the persona of Sammy Davis Jr.; and Rick Michael is a dead ringer for Dino. Spring Marketplace Extravaganza and Lucrative Promotions at the Avi

Through March 21, the Avi’s South Parking Lot is the scene for some great shopping opportunities during their Spring Marketplace Extravaganza featuring more than 100 vendors showcasing crafts, jewelry, gems, pet supplies, tools, live cooking demos and just about anything else you are looking for. Food and beverages will be available for purchase also. Stop buy for some great bargains or browsing beginning at 9 a.m. On the promotional scene are a couple of good giveaways starting with their “Eggnormous Egg Extravaganza” March 12-13 and 19-20. Advantage Club card members can earn and redeem 100 points on the designated weekends from 10 a.m. Friday through 10 p.m. Saturday and in turn get a different colored Easter Egg trinket box. There is a limit of two eggs per person per week. From March 16-April 5, Avi’s Whispers Lounge and pit will be offering a variety of specials related to “March Madness,” the big college basketball playoffs. Giveways include hats, T-shirts, coolers and keychains. Drink specials galore including “Bucket O’ Beer” where you get five 12-oz Bud longnecks for just $10. Stadium food specials will be served from the start of the Sweet 16 games to the finals. St. Patrick’s Day “Sip & Swing” Golf Classic Sponsored by Kiwanis Club of the Colorado River  

If you are looking for a few hours away from the excitement of the casino action consider a day in the sun with this charity event sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of the Colorado River. The organization is putting together its St. Patrick’s Day “Sip & Swing” Golf Classic on Saturday, March 13 at Rivers Edge Golf Course in Needles beginning at 1 p.m. Arizona time or noon California time. This fund-raiser is a nine-hole tournament with some interesting twists. There will be some unusual challenges while on the course such as putting with a pool cue stick on one selected hole; sipping beverages after a certain shot; driving with a putter on one designated hole and other surprises. The format consists of four-player teams and solo players will be accommodated. The entry fee is $50 per player and this comes with lunch, drink tickets and goodie bag. Oatman Celebrates St. Paddy’s Day with Annual Parade

Oatman, the quaint town not too far from Laughlin will be featuring their annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Saturday, March 13 at 2 p.m. Be sure and get there early because not only will it be crowded, you don’t want to miss out on a variety of events beginning at 10 a.m. including entertainment, bake sales, food and beverage specials and even some drawings for gifts. Winter Dance Party Headed to the Riverside Resort

John Mueller’s “Winter Dance Party”, a tribute to Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper is on its way to the Riverside Resort. The four-night engagement rocks out March 18-21

Aquarius Offering Room Deals for Upcoming Laughlin River Stampede PRCA Rodeo

One of the top events of the year, and always a sellout is the annual Laughlin River Stampede PRCA Rodeo. This year’s competition is set for March 25-28 at the Laughlin Events Park with over 500 of the nation’s top cowboys and cowgirls vying for their fair share of close to $250,000 in prize money. Traditional rodeo events will feature bareback and saddle bronc riding, team roping and bull riding. Aquarius to Broadcast Pacquiao vs Clottey Battle

Saturday, March 18, perhaps the fight of the year between Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey is scheduled and you can see it all at the Aquarius where they will be broadcasting via closed circuit television all the live action throughout the casino and inside Splash Cabaret. The warm-ups begin at 6 p.m.
